So I never thought I'd be blogging (if that's even a word). Where to begin... I was born in West Jordan, UT, have moved far too many times for any normal citizen, and have found myself in the humid state of Washington. After serving a two year mission for the LDS Church, I arrived home with questions regarding my career choices and future plans... all that stuff that never really leaves the mind; it just gets put off for awhile. My aspirations tend to lead me off in several directions leaving me to wonder if I'll ever accomplish them... however, the Lord willing I'll do it all. :)
I have been studying general education for nearly two years at a community college here in Vancouver, WA. I remember wondering if attending school was at all necessary... but alas, it is one of the best choices I have ever made. With two quarters left, I've been torn between pursuing a degree in Aviation or Business. After taking this matter to the Lord, I feel guided towards obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Political Science while minoring in Counseling. However, once I've finished my degree, I'll begin training as a Helicopter Pilot (unless of course the Lord has something else in mind).

It seems as if the years go by a bit faster as I get older. Maybe it's cuz I've been sleeping longer, hmm... Winter break came with tons of snow (at least that's what these Washington natives think). I loved it... it's been too long since I've seen a descent snow storm! Much fun has been had with many of my good friends, some coming back from school to get in on the good times. With this group we play a game called "signs", and it's hysterical with the right people; so take note, you can't just play with anyone.
Just after Christmas, our YSA group hosted an Art Appreciation/Talent Night at our church (although the "Art Appreciation" section was a bit "non-existent". Considering the complications that wouldn't go away, the show was big success and loaded with talent (my favorite act was a "beat boxing/vocal percussion" demonstration that also included juggling and hopping around on stage while humming the "Star wars" theme song... simultaneously); it rocked the house! And to think, most of us were worried it was gonna go down in flames.
School starts up again come the 5th. In a way, winter break seemed shorter and longer than last years... not sure how that even works, but it does. I'm almost tired of the break... time for something a bit more challenging.
And just when you thought this blog couldn't get any worse, something wonderful happens... it ends! Statler & Waldorf-
